St. Lukes' Residence
St. Luke's Home Society was founded in 1917 to provides community housing to individuals living within the Parish. Today, the Society operates two affordable housing projects for seniors.
St. Luke's Court contains nine independent suites and a common room. Sitting on the original site of St. Luke's Hospital, Vancouver's first hospital, the current building was built in 1924 as a residence for single working women. In 1986 it was remodeled into separate suites and the design won a Heritage Award for preserving the architectural integrity of the building.

St. James Place was the centennial project of St. Luke's Home Society. Opened in 1999, it was St. James' Parish's contribution to the Year of the Elderly. It has a total of 27 units. Some of the units are wheelchair accessible. While the majority of the units are managed under B.C. Housing's affordable housing guidelines, a small number of market-rent units are available.
