A former member of St. James' once said, "Everything we do flows from the altar."
Outreach is the response to the gifts and graces of God experienced in worship, in the sharing of Eucharist. The Eucharist is God's great sign of hospitality and love for all. Outreach includes all those activities that extend the gifts of the Eucharist into the wider community.
In our neighbourhood outreach takes many forms:
Truth and Reconciliation Commission National Event, Vancouver
St James Music Academy and literacy training for local children.
In the wider community, the Primate's World Relief and Development Fund offers aid in crisis and in daily challenges.
