St James’ Anglican Church is located at 303 East Cordova Street, at the corner of Gore and Cordova Streets in Vancouver, BC. We're located at the heart of the oldest part of Vancouver.

From Downtown Vancouver, drive east along Cordova Street. Pass Main Street, and you'll see St James’ ahead on the left at the next corner, which is Gore.

From East Vancouver, drive west along Venables, then turn right at Gore. Gore is about a mile west of Clark Drive. Don’t go over the Georgia Viaduct to downtown Vancouver; instead, turn right before that last intersection - that’s Gore. Continue a few blocks on Gore until you reach Cordova. You'll see the church ahead of you on your right.

From the West Side of Vancouver, enter downtown Vancouver, then drive north to Cordova, and follow the directions listed above for people coming from downtown. There's hardly any traffic on Sunday mornings, so you'll find this quite fast.

Street parking is available in the neighbourhood around the church. Bring quarters and loonies for parking meters. In case you can’t find any parking on the street, try the car park a few blocks west of the church at the north west corner of Cordova and Columbia Streets. The outside walls of the parking garage look like a cream coloured brick waffle, so it’ll be easy to spot.

Public Transit:

If you’re planning to take public transit to St James’, see the Translink website for details regarding routes. Or phone the Transit Info Line at 604-953-3333. Tell them where you are, and that you need to get to Gore and Cordova in Vancouver. A representative will help you plan the best route.

If you’re cycling to St James, bring a U-lock and lock your bike to one of the parking meters on the street right outside the church. Or use the bike rack across the street on the north-west corner of Gore and Cordova. Cyclists often arrive carrying panniers and other cycling accessories. Don't worry, if you like, the friendly people who greet you at the door will be happy to store these items for you during the service.
