Cafe Justicia at Sunday Coffee Hour

Fair Trade Coffee, Tea, and Sugar

The Sunday Coffee Hour is now serving organic fair-traded tea, sugar, and Café Justicia, a 100% Guatemala highland-grown Arabica coffee. The CCDA’s “El Paraiso” coffee cooperative is certified organic by Mayacet.

The CCDA is not a charity but a democratic social movement whose members decide and direct the work that benefits their communities. After cooperative members are paid a living wage, profits from the Justicia sales are divided among development projects in CCDA communities, a scholarship fund for orphaned children of CCDA members, and H.I.J.O.S., an organization of children of the disappeared who continue their parents’ struggle for human rights.

Café Justicia is marketed in Canada by the BC Central America Student Alliance with 40% of sales donated to Mother Emilie's Guatemala Mission.

You can order Café Justica for your home from Pat McSherry by e-mail patmcsherry@telus.net or phone 604 687 6844. Coffee is roasted, bagged and delivered each week to provide you the freshest product possible.
